Business Cards

Everything we do in business today is digital -- sending mail, signing contracts, attending meetings, even networking. The business card is one thing that digital will not fully replace anytime soon.

Here are five reasons why the old school business card is still important -- and why you should have a pocket full of them at all times.

1. Swapping contact information digitally is impersonal.

Brochures

Brochures form an integral part of the traditional printed marketing collateral, despite the growing popularity of online marketing initiatives. A well-designed brochure is very much a collectible item, not only for its captivating visual effects, but for the loads of product-specific information featured in it.

Let's take a look at a few compelling reasons to include brochures in your  marketing arsenal:

  • Brochures help capture the attention of potential customers.

  • Brochures are both effective and pocket-friendly.

  • Brochures can focus entirely on the business and its offerings.

  • Brochures are versatile pieces of printed information that can be used for promoting almost all types of products and services.

  • Brochures are another way to interact with customers and generate leads for the sales teams to follow up.

2. Business cards are the most effective direct marketing tools.

3. A business card is the first impression of your brand.

4. Creative business cards get shared -- continuing to market for you.

5. Business cards show you are prepared.

Flyers

Every small business needs to let potential customers know about their products and services. This is most often done through social media platforms, websites and email marketing. One of the oldest marketing methods, the humble flyer, is just as strong as ever and shouldn’t be dismissed. Flyers are an easy and effective way to tell people on the street about your services and products. They may have never seen your website, or may not be on social media. Even if they are online, they may take more notice of a flyer that is handed to them rather than scrolling through their news feed.

Postcards

Postcards offer high-quality marketing for a very low investment. Not only is the printing inexpensive, in most cases the postage rate is much lower. This makes promotional postcards affordable for any size business or organization.

Postcards are as versatile as your imagination. They can be used to introduce new products and services, announce a sale or special offer, invite people to a tradeshow, seminar or event, drive traffic to a website, or serve as a coupon. Unlike other forms of direct mail, postcards aren’t hidden within an envelope or packet. This allows the recipient to clearly see your offer while sorting through the day’s mail.
